How to Upload Documents to Notoria

Getting Started

Supported File Types and Limits

Notoria accepts the following file formats:

  • Images - JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP
  • Documents - PDF, TXT, DOC, DOCX

Each file can be up to 20 MB. You can upload up to 200 files per batch.

Uploading from Your Computer

  1. Click "Documents" in the sidebar.
  2. Navigate to the folder where you want the files to go, or stay at the root level.
  3. Click the upload button in the top toolbar.
  4. The "Upload Documents" modal appears with a drop zone.
  5. Drag files into the drop zone, or click "Browse files" to select them from your computer.
  6. Progress bars show upload status for each file.
  7. Click "Upload N file(s)" to start the upload.

Uploading from Your Phone via QR Code

  1. Open the upload modal on your computer using the steps above.
  2. A QR code appears inside the drop zone.
  3. Scan the QR code with your phone's camera.
  4. Your phone opens a mobile upload page - no login required.
  5. Select files from your phone's gallery or take a photo with the camera.
  6. Files upload directly to the same folder you had open on your computer.

The mobile upload session is valid for 15 minutes. After that, scan a new QR code to start another session.

Uploading to a Specific Folder

Navigate to the target folder in "Documents" before clicking the upload button. The modal header shows "Uploading to [folder name]" to confirm you're uploading to the right place. If you're at the root level, it shows "Uploading to Documents".

FAQ

Why did my upload fail?

Check the file size (max 20 MB) and format (PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, TXT, DOC, DOCX). If the file passed upload but shows a "failed_validation" badge, the file may be corrupted or in an unexpected format.

Can I upload from my phone without the QR code?

Yes. Log in to Notoria from your phone's browser and use the regular upload flow. The QR code is a shortcut that skips the login step.

How many files can I upload at once?

200 files per batch. To upload more, repeat the process after the first batch finishes.
